Bailey, Mary (Marriage 12/06/1877)

Married, last evening at 6 o'clock, at the residence of J. E. Morrison, by Rev. Wm. Fawcett, Mr. Milo Adams and Miss Mary Bailey.

We thought that such would be the case, and now the expectations have been fulfilled. The lady has for some time been a resident of Marion, and their loss is Cedar Rapids gain. Milo is one of the most prominent business men in the city, and has done just what was right. The wedding was quiet and unostentatious. The company was composed of the relatives and more intimate friends. The happy couple left for the South on the evening train, and will be absent about two weeks. We congratulate them on their new relationship and hope to hear at all time of their enjoyment and prosperity.

The above notice and favorable comment we clip for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Republican. Mrs. Adams, nee Miss Mary Bailey, will be remembered by most of our citizens as a former resident of this place (Clark County), she having once been a member of the family of Mr. Robert Schofield, by adoption.
