Frederick Rundle fought in the Civil War with Co. "F" of the 124th New York. His son, Henry Rundle, fought in the Spanish-American War. The family moved to Clark County, Wisconsin in 1876, settling in the town of Levis. Henry was born while his father was at the front and was named William Henry Frederic Ira Thomas Rundle. However, he shortened it to Henry.
Henry Rundle gathered a lot of interesting history on the early days in Levis.
