SERVICES HELD FOR ALBIN MEYER, FORMERLY OF LOYAL
 

Albin Meyer, 83, who has lived at the Memorial Home, Neillsville for the last nine years, and formerly a resident of Loyal, Clark County, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 1975, at Memorial Home.


Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, with Rev. Robert Houston officiating. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.


Pallbearers were George Schellinger, Ed Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt, Joe Hoeser, Tony Walter Sr., and Phillip Schecklman.
The Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.


Albin Meyer was born July 11, 1891 in the Town of York and attended rural York schools. As a young man he went to Ladysmith in 1918 and farmed there until 1953 with his brother. He moved back to Loyal in 1953 and worked for several farmers here until moving to Memorial Home. He had never married.


He is survived by one brother, Albert, Loyal, and two sisters, Miss Betty Meyer, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Julia Newhouse, Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
