Blum, Harold C. (1918 - 1982)


Harold C. Blum, 64, died on Dec. 19, 1982, following a lingering illness.

Harold C. Blum was born on Sept. 28, 1918, at Marion, Iowa to Walter H. and Ruth L. (nee Trimble) Blum. He moved to Clark County, Town of Mead, with his parents at the age of five months.

He received hi education at the Kippenhan School and at Owen Public School.

At the age of 18, he went into the Coast Guard. He served in the Army during World War II.

He was a carpenter by trade and lived at Pomona, Cal. Until 1977, when he moved to Oregon.

Surviving him are his wife, Arlene four daughters, Janice Blum, Cecilia Bark of Oregon, Shirley Cash, Sharienia Ramirez of California three brothers, Walsh Blum and Leland Blum of Washington state, and his twin brother, Howard Blum of Yucaipa, Cal. 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Interment was at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Cal.
