Syth, Dale W. (1924 - 1983)

Dale W. Syth, 59, of Eau Claire, died on Thursday, March 31, 1983, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 4, 1983, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Officiating was Rev. Alfred Langhough. Cremation followed.

Dale W. Syth was born to Vern and Alma (nee Rounn) Syth at Greenwood, Clark County on Jan. 31, 1924. He received his education in the Greenwood schools and was a graduate of Greenwood High school.

He was married to Beatrice Steiger in Milwaukee. They resided in Eau Claire for the past 34 years. He was the president of a lithographing co. in Eau Claire.

Surviving him are his wife his mother, Alma Genett of Greenwood two daughters, Elizabeth of Eau Claire and Andrea Terhaar of Bozeman, Mont. one son, James of Bozeman three brothers, Richard and Kenneth, both of Greenwood and earl of Spencer, Okla. and three grandchildren.

His father and one brother preceded him in death.
