Kehrberg, Hattie (1890 - 1983)


Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 1983, at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal, for Hattie Kehrberg, 92, formerly of Loyal, Clark County, who had resided since 1970 at Marshfield Convalescent Center.

Miss Kehrberg died at 2 p.m., Wednesday, may 18, 1983, at the home.

Officiating at the service was Rev. Joseph R. Kraly of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery.

Hattie Kehrberg was born on Nov. 18, 1890, in Marshfield to Herman F. and Augusta (nee Altenburg) Kehrberg. She received her education in Marshfield schools.

She worked in Kehrberg's Store, Loyal, for 52 years, retiring in 1969. She never married.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, and its Ladies Aid.

Surviving her is one brother, Gerhard of Loyal. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Serving as pallbearers were Verland Dux, Erwin Dux, Herbert Hinkelmann, Glen Bloom, Wilbur Lindner and Orville Luchterhand. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
