Nielsen, Lillian C. (1916 - 1983)


Lillian C. Nielsen, 66, of Route 2, Greenwood, Town of Eaton, Clark County, died at 8:45 a.m, Monday, Sept. 12, 1983, at Memorial Home, Neillsville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, 1983, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Officiating will be Rev. Samuel Kochel and interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David, Harlan and Harris Nielsen and David, George and Daryl Aulenbacher. Rinka Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitations will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, after 3 p.m., Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

Lillian Endres was born to Fred and Ernestine Endres at Washington County, Hartford, Wis. on Oct. 25, 1916. She received her education at Hartford High school.

On June 15, 1940, she was married to Aage Nielsen in the Town of Erin. After their marriage, they lived in Beaver Dam from 1940 until 1948, when they moved to the Town of Eaton, where they farmed.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and it ALCW.

Surviving her are her husband two sons, Roger and Wayne, both of Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sharon) Bushman of Wis. Rapids two sisters, Mrs. Rosella Aulenbacher of Hartford and Mrs. Florence Weber of Hartford and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
