Cramer, Ella R. (20 APR 1894 - 22 DEC 1984)


Funeral services for Ella R. Cramer, 90, formerly of Spencer, residing at Colonial House of Colby, were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer on Saturday, Dec. 22, 1984 at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Cramer died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 1984 at the Colonial House of Colby.

Officiating at the service was Rev. William Ruhbusch. Burial was in West Spencer Cemetery.

She was born April 20, 1894 in the Town of Unity, Clark County to Carl and Wilhelmina (nee Mellenthin) Luepke. She married Louis Cramer on Oct. 30, 1913 at St. John's Lutheran Church. They farmed in the Town of Brighton until 1945. They then lived in Marshfield until Louis' death in 1954 and she moved back to Spencer. She entered the Colonial House of Colby in 1981.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Erickson of Marshfield and Mrs. Randolph (Mabel) Facklam of Wis. Rapids nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents her husband one son two great-grandchildren seven sisters and five brothers.

Rux Funeral home in Spencer handled the arrangements.
