Tucker, Loretta (8 JAN 1902 - 24 JAN 1985)


Loretta Tucker, 83, formerly of Loyal, Clark County, but residing the last 4 years at Neillsville Home, died at 8:55 a.m. Jan. 24, 1985 at the Neillsville Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 1985 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Rev. James Logan officiated. Pallbearers were Robert Schultz, Jesse Zvolena, Pat Englebretson, Tim Englebretson, Eric Englebretson, and Paul Englebretson.

Loretta was born Jan. 8, 1902 at Marsh Rapids, Wis. to Charles and Lina (nee Christenson) Ratella. She received her education at Loyal High School in 1920 and the Catholic School. She married Harold Tucker on Nov. 26, 1923 in Loyal. She lived all her life in Loyal except the last 4 years, when she resided at the Neillsville Home.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and PCCW.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Beverly) Bethke, Wausau, Mrs. Clayton (Kathleen) Englebretson, Loyal eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband in 1976, her parents, and one son in infancy, also a sister.

Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
