Peterson, Jerold (27 NOV 1942 - 27 MAY 1985)

Jerold Peterson, 42, Rt. 3, Neillsville, Clark County, died at 5:05 p.m. Monday, May 27, 1985 at Neillsville Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 30. Rev. Norbert Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 4 p.m. on Wednesday and after 12:30 at the Church on Thursday.

He was born Nov. 27, 1942 in Greenwood to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Josephine Raik) Peterson. He received his education at Greenwood High School, graduating in 1961. He worked in Alaska and Hawaii from 1961 to 1974. He then came back to the Neillsville area, where he worked for Weyerhauser in Marshfield up until his illness one year ago. He married Lynda Ladd June 17, 1983 in Neillsville (Christie). He was a member of United Methodist Church and served in the National Guards.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda one step-son, Robert his parents one sister, Mrs. Wayne (JoAnn) Voss, Christie three nephews, Jeff, James, and Jerry Voss.

Pallbearers will be Jeff, James, and Jerry Voss, Robert Marek, Dale Ladd, and Rick Thoma.

Rinka Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
