Huntzicker, Grace E. (5 SEP 1897 - 21 FEB 1985)

Grace E. Huntzicker, 88, of Denver, Colo. Died Feb. 21, 1985.

She was born Sept. 5, 1897 to John and Maria Jane (nee Nichol) Huntzicker. She received her education in Neillsville and Greenwood, Clark County schools. She graduated from Steven Point State Normal School in 1922 and received a B.A. in 1926 from the University of Colorado. She retired from years of working in San Francisco for the State Medical Society. She retired to Denver, Colo., staying at first with her mother and then with sisters.

She traveled extensively in the Orient.

She is survived by a sister, Bethel Houston, Denver a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Huntzicker, Denver nephews, John H. Huntzicker, Pacific Palisades, Cal., William M. Huntzicker, Broomfield, Colo. nieces, Jane Huntzicker, Yakima, Wash., Mary Snyder, Cocoa Beach, Fla. Ann Mlada, Hales Corners, Wis. 11 great-nieces and nephews and five grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Fred, a sister, Ruth, and her parents.

Graveside services were held in Greenwood on June 19, 1985. Officiating were Rev. Nobert Miller, Mrs. Miller and Ron Tieman.
