ALBERTA ROBACK


Alberta Lillian Roback, 73, Greenwood, Clark County, died Monday, Aug. 26, 1996, at the home of her son in Greenwood, where she had resided since early in 1995. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Joseph Follmar will officiate.


Alberta Guastella was born on Nov. 9, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Charles and Josephine (nee Dado) Guastella. She attended area schools in Chicago and was a graduate of Lindbloom High School. She married Frank Roback in Chicago in 1944. He died in 1983. They lived in the Chicago area, where she was a beautician for 58 years. She was a former member of St. Gaul s Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women and served as a senior regent with the Royal Order of Moose, both in Chicago.


Survivors include one son, Joseph (Dorothy) Roback, Greenwood one sister Philomena Briley, Bridgeview, Ill. one brother, Joseph Guastella, Orlando, Fla. one brother-in-law, George (Catherine) Roback, Seneca, Ill. and one granddaughter, Kimberly Fleming, Greenwood.


She was preceded in death by her husband her son, John Roback in 1989 her parents and two sisters, Angeline Millici and Grace Antonacci.


Maurina Funeral Home of Abbotsford assisted the family with arrangements.
