Foote, Mrs. Frank ( - 13 JUL 1896)

News came from Merrillan Tuesday that Mrs. Frank Foote, who has been ill for several weeks, died Monday afternoon. Rev. Foster, of this city (Neillsville, Clark County), was engaged to officiate at the funeral which was held yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Foote is a very young woman and the daughter of Mr. Holcomb, who resides in Merrillan. She was married to Frank Foote, mail agent on this branch of the Omaha road, less than a year ago, and had scarcely got started on life's road in the matrimonial harness, ere she was called away from a happy home just made for her and a large circle of warm friends. Frank is a Neillsville boy, who is well liked in this community, and has the earnest sympathy of the entire community.
