Denzin, Leo E. (1887? - 22 SEP 1963)

Funeral services for Leo E. Denzin, age 76, a former rural Abbotsford resident, who passed away Sept. 22, 1963 at the home of his son, Galen, at Phillips, were conducted at the Lulloff Funeral Home at 2:30 Wednesday, with Rev. Joseph Schulz officiating. Mrs. William Denzin Jr. sang "The 23rd Psalm," also "Asleep in Jesus," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Orville Barkow.

Interment was made at St. John's Cemetery at Milan.

Arrangement were made by Lake Funeral Home Phillips, and Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.

Pallbearers were six nephews: Irvin Zahorka, Ray Denzin, Alvin Denzin, William Denzin Sr., Edward Denzin and Frank Bartnik.

He is survived by six sons: Lawrence, Medford, Delbert, Ilan, Donald Abbotsford, Leon, Racine, Galen, Phillips, and Myron, Mosinee; also one sister, Mrs. Alma Zahorka, Abbotsford, and two brothers, Otto of Prentice and Fred of Tomahawk; 26 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1941, and also one infant son.

Relatives attending were from Phillips, Racine, Prentice, Tomahawk, Mosinee, Wis. Rapids, Medford, Withee, Dorchester, Edgar, Abbotsford and Milan.
