Werstovshek, Ida Anderson (5 OCT 1963)

Marriage vows were repeated by Ida Anderson Werstovshek and Donald D. Rosenlof, both of Colby, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock before a nuptial mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiated at the ceremony.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. John E. Anderson of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rosenlof of Phillips.

For her wedding the bride was attired in a ballerina length gown of white Chantilly lace over lilac with which she wore a short lilac veil secured to an aurora borealis crystal crown. She carried a bouquet centered with an orchid and surrounded by carnations and chrysanthemums.

The honor attendants were Mrs. Robert Hansen of Colby, a friend of the bride, and Duane Ludwig of Dorchester, a friend of the groom.

Miss Kathy Anderson of Colby, a sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid, and Miss Audrey Sossaman of Colby, a nice of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Jerry Maki of Tripoli, a friend of the groom, and Terry Morrow of Colby, a cousin of the bride, were the groomsmen.

The matron of honor wore a mint green formal with basque bodice and full skirt. The bridesmaid was similarly dressed in hot pink. Their aurora borealis headpieces held matching veils. They wore wrist corsages of matching carnations.

The junior bridesmaid wore a sky blue formal with draped bodice and full skirt and a matching blue petal headpiece. She carried a white lace basket with blue tited carnations and white and blue satin ribbons.

Donald Morrow and Glen Turner performed ushering duties at the church.

Following the ceremony, brunch was served at the home of the bride's parents for the wedding party and immediate families. About 150 guests attended the reception held in the afternoon at Sportsmen's Park and the dance held there in the evening.

Supper was served at St. Mary's School gymnasium.

When the enw Mr. and Mrs. Rosenlof return home from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin they will make their home at 319 S. 2nd St., Colby. The groom is employed at Packaging Corp. of America.

Guests attending the wedding day festivities came from Phillips, Tripoli, Prentice, Upson, Brentwood, Medford, Dorchester, Abbotsford, Colby, Curtiss, Spencer, Unity, Loyal, Ironwood, Mich., Coon Rapids, Mich., and Minneapolis, Minn.
