Spencer Tribune The marriage of Mr. John Blecha , of Athens, and Miss Josie Chesak, of Poniantowski, occurred at the bride’s home, last Thursday. The partied are two of the most popular young people in the northern part of our county, and have the respect of everyone. The young people will reside in Athens where Mr. Blecha is in the hotel business.

The town of Colby lost by fire the bridge over the Popple River, nesar Grambort’s Thursday, and the town of Hall bridge over the Eau Pleine near the Rector place. Both towns are already figuring on putting in new iron structures.

On the 14th at Spokeville, Wm. Rienow and Miss Anna Christianson were united in marriage, Rev. L. Thom of this city officiating. The groom is well known through this section and has the best wishes of his numerous friends.

Judge Hirth tied the nuptial knot last Wednesday which bound as man and wife Mr. Edw. Hommel and Miss Lily Shupe, of Greenwood.

Greenwood has voted a $500 saloon license at a recent special election. This holds for three years.
