Koffarnus, William Sr. (2 OCT 1881 - 22 OCT 1963)

William Koffarnus Sr., 82, of Abbotsford, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1963, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, with the rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating. Burial will be made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.

Visitations may be made at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

Mr. Koffarnus was born Oct. 2, 1904, and his wife, Clara, Survives. The couple farmed in the Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) and Abbotsford areas.

He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford.

Besides his wife, he is survived by eight sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mae Karsten, Marshfield; Oscar, Dorchester; Arthur of Michigan; Clarence, Milwaukee; George of Colby; William, Owen' Herman, Milwaukee; George of Colby; William, Owen; Herman, Milwaukee; Herbert of Curtiss; Larry, Wausau; and Mrs. Richard (Hazel) Nelson of Milwaukee. There are 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Joseph of Welcome, Minn., and George of Hilbert, and Mrs. Laura Raabe of Appleton, also survive.

Two children and five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
