Mrs. Henry Sternitzky and son Walter, accompanied by the former's brother, Mr. Hillman, left last Thursday for Jackson to visit relatives and attend a wedding anniversary of her sister at that place.

The Misses Emma and Etta Altenburg and Hattie Schultz and Mrs. Lester Shafter of Granton returned home Saturday from their trip to Appleton, Menasha and other places in the eastern part of the state.

Miss Hazel Washburn left last Saturday for Eau Claire, Wis., where she will attend the Nurses Training school of that city, which is connected with the Luther Hospital.

J.W. White of Lindsey transacted business at this place last Friday.

Mrs. McInnis visited her parents at Progress the past week.

Richard Gotter moved from Rozellville this week and has taken up residence in Lynn, occupying the house vacated by Ed Ure. Richard has employment with H.C. Witt in the cheese factory.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dankemyer and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson were Marshfield visitors last Friday.

Carl Williams is putting a new cellar basement under his house.

Miss Mable Scholtz entertained company from Marshfield this week.

F.C. Holst of Veedum transacted business in this place last Wednesday.

There will be religious services at the town hall Sunday afternoon at three o'clock. Everybody is invited. Services will be held by the ministers from Lindsey.

Mrs. Montag returned from her trip to Neillsville Wednesday.
