Wagner, Anna (9 August 1878 - 4 January 1968)

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Anna Wagner, 89, of Rt. 1 Granton, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Manthey, in Waunakee, where she had spent the holidays. The Rev. William Dushek of the Methodist Church officiated at services from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton. Burial was made in the Lynn Cemetery.

Mrs. Wagner, the former Anna Franke, was born August 9, 1878, in Calumet County. On March 19, 1902, she was married there to William Wagner, who died in October, 1967. They moved to the town of Lynn, where they operated a farm for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Manthey of Waunakee; two sons, Roland of Waunakee, and George of Granton; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Other survivors are: two brothers, George Franke of Park Falls and Otto Franke of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. John Wagner of Chilton, Mrs. Martha Reisener of Milwaukee and Mrs. Alma Nelson of Chilton.
