Ohlinger, Jovita A. (18 NOV 1963)

Miss Jovita Ann Ohlinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold J. Ohlinger, route 2, Colby, became the bride of Benedict Bernard Bauer, son of Mrs. Mary Bauer of Catawba, Monday morning, Nov. 18, 1963, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father in a 10:30 o'clock ceremony which preceded the nuptial high mass, at which the Rev. John Pinion officiated. The St. Mary's grade school choir sang.

For her wedding, the bride was attired in a ballerina length gown of white satin that was designed with a scalloped V-neckline, long sleeves with points over the wrist and a pleated skirt. A headpiece of white satin petals with white satin roses held her short veil. Pink and white carnations were combined in a cascade arrangement in the bridal bouquet.

Miss Marian Ohlinger of Marshfield attended her sister as matron of honor. She wore a forest green faille dress made with a V-neck and street length pleated skirt. Her headpiece was forest green and she carried a cascade bouquet of pink and white carnations..

Anton Bauer of Catawba attended his brother.

The immediate families of the bridal couple were served a dinner at the home of the bride's parents. They came from Catawba, Marshfield, Phillips, Wausau, Curtiss and Colby.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Bauer left on a honeymoon trip, and on their return will live on a farm on Ranch Rd., Catawba.

The bride is a graduate of the Colby High School. Her husband attended the Catawba public schools and is a farmer.
