Hannan, Paul Raymond (05 DEC 1980 – 08 JAN 1997)

Paul Raymond Hannan, 16, Loyal, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, at his home.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan.11, 1997 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal.  Father Roman Kaiser officiated.  Burial was in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rick Sturtz, Chad Schmidt, John Edwards, Patrick Tarter, Jeremy Steinbach and Chris Degenhardt.

Paul Raymond Hannan was born on Dec 5, 1980, in Neillsville to James and Caroline (nee Geisler) Hannan.

He was raised on the family farm south of Loyal.  He moved with his family into Loyal in 1991.  He was a sophomore at Loyal High School.  He enjoyed music, sports, drawing, collecting sports cards, hunting, riding his bicycle and spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He was member at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, James and Caroline Hannan, Loyal; one brother, Peter (Michele) Hannan, Spencer; three sisters, Karan (Patrick) Tarter, Eden Prairie, Minn.; Nancy (John) Edwards, Thorp; and Cheryl (Chad) Schmidt, Mosinee; four nieces; two nephews; and maternal grandparents, Norman (Selma) Geisler, Owen.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Hannan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be greatly appreciated.

Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
