Hardt, Dolores A. (30 NOV 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. George J. Schneider are now at home at 106 Mill St. at Spencer.

The marriage of Miss Dolores Ann Hardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hardt, route 1, Athens, and George J. Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schneider of Colby, took place Saturday, Nov. 30, 1963, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Athens.

The Rev. Lloyd Geissler read the marriage service at 9:30 before the nuptial high mass, at which the children's choir sang.

The bridal gown was made of silk organza with Chantilly lace trimming fabric roses adorning the skirt. A crown of seed pearls and sequins secured her English illusion veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white carnations interspersed with greens and white satin ribbon.

Identical floor length gowns of turquoise satin with matching headpieces were worn by the bride's attendants: Miss Carmen Hardt of Athens, the maid of honor, and Mrs. Martin Hardt of Wausau and Miss Florence Schneider of Colby, bridesmaids. They carried bouquets of turquoise tinted carnations surrounded by white mums.

Eugene Hardt, a brother of the bride, was the best man, and Martin Hardt, another brother, and Daniel Fischer of Unity, were the groomsmen.

Verlon Schneider of Colby and Steve Mader of Athens performed the ushering duties.

Festivities of the wedding day included a luncheon at the home of the bride's parents, a reception and supper and dancing in the evening at the Trianon Ballroom.

The bride, a graduate of the Athens High School, is employed by Fromm Brothers at Hamburg. The groom, who is a graduate of the Colby High School, is employed at Pathfinder Mobile Homes in Spencer.
