Mrs. Frei and several friends gave Mrs. Storm a surprise party Saturday in honor of her birthday.

Mike Alton sold his hay to Levi Morris.

Mrs. Ackerman, Mrs. Hefty and Mrs. Fred Foemmel Sr. ate ice cream with Mrs. Frei Monday.

Mrs. Effie Davis attended the birthday party of Mrs. Price Lee’s Tuesday.

Fred and Will Foemmel hauled L. Morris’ hay for him Monday.

Will Foemmel and family and the Mesdames Ackerman and Frei had dinner with grandma Foemmel Tuesday.

F.W. Davis and son Scott called at the John Rietenpol, Bert Hales and Truman Davis homes Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson spent Sunday evening at the Wm. Foemmels.

Calvin Davis is here at the home of his parents laid up with rheumatism.

Mr. Hefty has been laid up for some time with a lame back.  One of Geo. Frei’s boys is helping with the shores.

Miss Viola Alton is trying hard to win the piano in the department store in Neillsville.

Mrs. Alton is able to be about the house again.

Ed Ackerman and Dave Rhines attended the auction sale at Shortville Tuesday and Mr. Rhines bought a horse.

Everybody that wants ice is hauling it now.

Geo. Frei is the proud possessor of a pair of twin Holstein claves born this week.
