Olinski, Katherine (24 AUG 1893 - 9 MAR 1964)

Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Olinski, 70, who passed away Monday, March 9th, 1964, at Victory Memorial Hospital, were held from St. Anne's Catholic Church, Stanley on Friday, March 13 at 9:00 a.m. Father Edward Cramer officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Steven Lato, Frank Bonczyk, Peter Burzynski, Leon Marek, Tom Osowski and John Damski.

Katherine Langiewicz was born on Aug. 24, 1893 in Batavia, N.Y., and with her parents, Joseph and Josephine (Nowak) Langiewicz, came to the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area when she was a baby.

She was married to Louis Olinski on June 15, 1915 at Thorp. After their marriage, they farmed in the Thorp area until six years ago when they moved to the city of Thorp, where they lived for two years and then moved to Stanley, where they resided the last four years.

Survivors include her husband Louis; one son, Waldemar of Milwaukee; four daughters (Louise) Mrs. Henry Rembecki and (Marcella) Mrs. Anthony Ostrowski, both of Warren Mich., (Isabelle), Mrs. Joseph Grenn, Roger City, Mich. (Leona) Mrs. Carl Kiraly of Stanley; one brother Alex Langiewicz of Thorp; one sister, Mrs. Sophie Stevens of Minneapolis, and twelve grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Joseph, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of St. Anne's Church, Stanley, and the Christian Mothers Society.
