Pallbearers were Leonard Cwikla, Stanley Halida Jr., Neil Alger, Jerry Kobylarczyk, Alfons Mitchell Jr. and Steve Pawlik.

Antoinette Jean Mnichowicz was born on December 31, 1936 in Polley, Wis., to Anthony J. and Ann (Pawlik) Mnichowicz Sr.

She was raised on the family farm in Lublin and received her education at area schools. After completing her education, Antoinette lived with her uncle for a short time, working at his resort. She then moved to Chicago, Ill., where she worked for Western Electric for ten years. Upon returning to the Thorp area, Antoinette worked at the Thorpedo Restaurant.

She was united in marriage to Louis F. Kobylarczyk on October 15, 1966 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. Together, they farmed until 1977 when they retired and moved to the City of Thorp. Antoinette continued to reside in Thorp until entering the Clark County Health Care Center in 2003.

Antoinette was a very caring person who always found time to help her family in any way possible. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, baking, cooking, crocheting, knitting and doing embroidery work. She was especially fond of her Pomeranian dogs.

She was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church and its PCCW, and also was a member of Rainbow Homemakers Club.

Antoinette is survived by her four brothers, Dennis (Ruth) Mnichowicz of Thorp, Wis., James (Anita) Mnichowicz of Lublin, Wis., Anthony J. Mnichowicz Jr. of Lublin, Wis., and Leon (Theresa) Mnichowicz of Roselle, Ill.; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Louis on March 9, 2005; one sister, Jeanette; and two brothers, Gabriel and Joseph.
