Scholz, Viola Clara (May 23, 1916 – January 23, 2008)

Former Rib Lake resident Viola Clara Scholz, 91, Phillips, died Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Bernie Byrne officiating. Interment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood. Pallbearers are John Ruby, Scott Scholz, Tim Scholz, Dave Scholz, Todd Scholz, Tom Scholz, Jeff Pennycuff and Mike Schneider.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
