Maziarka, Anton (6 JAN 1890 – JAN 1953)

Funeral services were conducted by Father Eugene Knopka at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 3rd, for Anton Maziarka, 63, of the Town of Roosevelt, who passed away at the Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.

The deceased was born in Poland on Jan. 6, 1890. He came to America in 1906 at the age of 16 years and was united in marriage there on Jan. 12, 1910 to Mary Kulig.

He came to Lublin in 1912 with his wife and family and this has since been his home..

Surviving him are his wife, Mary, four sons, Joseph, Mike, Walter and Frank of Chicago, four daughters, Sophie Burke, Genevieve Myzia, Julia Miss of Chicago and Lillian Maziarka at home; four grandchildren, and two sisters in Poland.

He was laid to rest in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul and Doman Kostick, Walter and Maylon Reyzer, Pete Gwiaszdon and Joe Roll.
