Ramm, Ethel (Blasel) (January 25, 1930 - April 15, 2009)

Ethel Ramm, 79, Marshfield, died Wednesday, April 15 at Bethel Center Nursing Home, where she had resided since 2004, while under hospice care.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 17 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery Mausoleum.

The former Ethel Blasel was born January 25, 1930 in the Town of Browning to the late Herman and Evelyn (Morks) Blasel.

She attended Fairfield Grade School and was a graduate of Medford High School.

On August 14, 1948 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford, she married Harvey Ramm, who survives. They lived in the Medford area before moving to Marshfield. She was a homemaker and did volunteer work at her church and St. Vincent DePaul.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Nancy Ramm of Owen, and Starla (Edward) Wegner and Brian, both of Marshfield; a sister, Lois (James) Jari of Medford; three grandchildren, Brandon, Blaine and Brittni Ramm, all of Marshfield; and many other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth in 1978; and a sister, Lucille Kaiser in 1976.
