Scott, Robert “Bob” (November 20, 1932 - March 17, 2009)

Robert "Bob" Scott, 76, Rib Lake, died Tuesday, March 17 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake, under the care of Hope Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with Pastor Bob Giese officiating. Interment will be at Chelsea Community Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Schuppel and Paul Schilling. Active pallbearers will be Fran Coenen, Louis Mortenson, Jim Klimeck, Connie Roder, David Roder, Dennis Jensen, Barbara Olson and Julie Scott.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Robert Scott was born November 20, 1932 in Chelsea to Elmer Edward and Emma (Peterson) Scott.

He attended Westboro Graded School and was a 1950 graduate of Westboro High School. He worked on the family dairy farm until 1982, then as a herdsman for various farms until 1996. While working on the family farm he was also employed at Medford Creamery as an evaporator operator.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Westboro where he was a Deacon for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing and watching basketball, fishing, bowling and reading. Survivors include a special friend, Dennis (Diane) Niggemann of Medford; and relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor would be appreciated.
