Gayhart, Cecelia E. (8 Feb. 1915 - 6 Jan. 2009)

Cecelia E. Gayhart, 93, of Medford died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living, Medford.

Cremainal Inurnment will take place in the spring in Saint Amborse Cemetery, Wabeno.

She was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Newberry, Mich., to John and Amand (Lehto) Hildeen. She was united in marriage June 16, 1934, to Elmer E. Gayhart, and he preceded her in death April 30, 1990.

She owned and operated the Grand Plank Hotel and Elmer's Tavern in Wabeno for most of her life.

She survived by sons, Jim (Janice) Gayhart of Kewaunee and Elmer (Dori) Gayhart of Medford, brother, Arnie Hilden of Ontonagon, Mich., six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hemer Funeral Home of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.

I am Cecelia Gayhart's grand daughter from Prospect, Ky.
We noticed on your site that my grand mothers obituary does
not mention my mother who is Cecelia Gayhart's only daughter.
My mothers name is Nancy Vanderbur from Prospect, KY.
My mother died before my grand mother.  But I think she should
be mentioned on the site.  They were very close.  I don't know
how she got forgotten in the obituary?  Nancy Vanderbur died February 18, 2003.
Can you please put something in the obituary similar to what you wrote about
Elmer E. Gayhart my grand father?
 
She had one daughter, Nancy Vanderbur, from Prospect, Kentucky.  Her daughter preceded her in death
February 18, 2003.
