Glamann, Clarence M. (5 July 1921 - 8 Nov. 2008)

MEDFORD -- Clarence M. Glamann, 87, of Medford, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Memorial Health Center, Medford.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Medford. Inurnment of his cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II with graveside military rites performed by the Medford Military Honors Team.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Hemer Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Clarence was born July 5, 1921, in Dodge County to Fred and Caroline (Diels) Glamann. He married Donna Jean Gorichs on July 9, 1949, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Italy and North Africa from 1942 to 1945. He then worked as a supervisor at Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford for 37 years until his retirement in 1986. In retirement, he shuttled cars for local dealers.

Surviving are his wife, Donna J. Glamann of Medford; three sons, Clarence Jr. (Barb) Glamann, Chippewa Falls, Bradley Glamann, Minneapolis, and Craig (Lynn) Glamann, Medford; one daughter, Susan Paul, Appleton; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren; his sister, Leila Jacobs, McGregor, Minn.; and his brother, Harvey (Violet) Glamann, Dorchester.
