Kondrasuk, Philip James (May 10, 1928 - August 13, 2011)

Philip James Kondrasuk, 83, of Gilman, died on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

He was born on May 10, 1928 to the late Felix and Mae (Nichols) Kondrasuk. Philip was raised in the Town of Aurora and farmed in the area.


On Aug. 12, 1995 he married Fran Rogus. Philip was an active member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.


He is survived by four step-children, Evelyn (Jamie) Furrer of Wausau, Bob (Tami) Rogus and Rich Rogus, both of Thorp, and Ron (Linda) Rogus of Neillsville; six step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.


Philip is preceded in death by his wife Fran in 2008, and his parents.


A gathering of family and friends was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the Meadowbrook Cemetery in Gilman.


A special thanks to all family and friends that acted as Philip’s caregivers over the last few years, especially those at the Gilman Care Center and at the House of the Dove.
