Niznik, Mary A. (Mis) (August 10, 1922 - February 7, 2012)

Mary A. Niznik, 89, Medford, died on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where she had resided the past three years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father John Long officiating. Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Lublin. Pallbearers are Pauline Williams, Marlene, Sherri, Bob, Ron and Dan Niznik, and Steve Pawelko.


Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.

Attended the Riverbank School system in Lublin

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:

October 5, 1940 at Holy Trinity Church, Lublin to Paul A. Niznik Sr. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2004.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

Paul and Mary and their family ran a dairy farm in the Town of Maplehurst for 40 years. During this time she was also a homemaker and in her younger years she sewed clothes for her daughters. She was an avid baker, enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning and berry picking. Mary helped with the cooking and baking for St. Stanislaus Church functions.
