Rude, Henry A. (4 Apr. 1887 - 20 Sept. 1985)

Henry A Rude, of rural Park Falls, Town of Fifield, passed away at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff on September 20, 1985. He was 98 years of age.

Visitation was at the Novitzke Funeral Home on Sun. September 22 and on Mon., September 23 at Peace Lutheran Church until the time of services. Funeral services were held on September 23 at Peace Lutheran Church with the Reverend Oliver Schultz presiding. Burial was at the Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield with military rites under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion Post.

Born April 4, 1887 in Norway, Henry spent his early life and received his schooling there. He came to the Pike Lake area in 1919. On May 11, 1934, he married Linda E. Bentz in Park Falls. Henry was the owner and operator of a tavern, and he was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Rude of Park Falls; one granddaughter; one grandson; and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife.
