Many from here attended the auction Saturday at Mr. Wryles near Lindsey.

 

Robert Christensen has a very sick boy, Dr. Wahle was called there Sunday.

 

Miss Hazel Thiel entertained Miss Jessie Caulkings of Park Falls the past week.

 

Many, are out after the blackberries as it is reported they are fast getting ripe now.

 

Many are planning for the fair which if the weather man is willing everybody will attend.

 

The threshing machine is in our midst, H. Johnson is threshing for G. Eyers today, (Wednesday.)

 

Remember the Presbyterian Ladies' Aid will meet this week Thursday the 20th with Mrs. John Davis. All are cordially invited.

N- E. Hillebert has but recently secured an interest in the Lindsey telephone Co. and he will be ready to answer to the ring on line number 2.

 

Those who took in the show and dance at Lindsey the other night passed their opinion on shows which proves all shows are not alike.

 

The R. N. A. met last week Tuesday, their regular meeting day and had something special for good of the order. All members should' be present hereafter or they will miss it.

 

Grandma L. Hillebert who is past 93 years old has been very sick for the past two weeks, but is reported much better at this writing and so far has recovered as to be up and around a little.

 

It is advised that young men who go hunting for (Roses) out of season better have their Horses secured, as one young man got left and his horse. got back home before he did, it gave him a five mile walk and the next day' he had to return to get his buggy, a lesson for others.
