Hart, Lula (9 Nov. 1908 – 7 Apr. 1994)

Lulu Hart, 85, of Black River Falls, died Thursday, April 7, 1994, at her home.

She was born in Mindoro on Nov. 9, 1908, to Eugene and Minnie (Eliasen) Hart. She attended schools in Mindoro and Lewis Valley.

She cared for her parents and several aunts and uncles while living in Mindoro. She moved to Melrose in 1957 and managed her farm there until it was sold in 1976. She moved to Black River Falls in 1977. She was a lifelong member of Mindoro Lutheran Church. Surviving are three nephews, Willard, Willis and Robert Hart, all of Black River Falls; and three nieces, Sharon Lund of Black River Falls, Valeria Barton of La Crosse and Margaret Stetzer of Melrose. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services were held April 11 at Black River Falls Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Erik Zingelman officiated. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery, Mindoro. Torgerson's Funeral Chapel, Black River Falls, was in charge of the arrangements.
