Waller, Betty J. (2 July 1925 – 16 March 2010)

 

Betty Waller, 84, of Appleton passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Colony Oaks Care Center.

 

She was born July 2, 1915, in Alma Center, the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Kimball) Cooper.  In 1943 Betty married Loren Waller in Blair, and he preceded her in death in 1992.  She lived in Beloit until eight years ago when she moved to Appleton to be closer to family.

 

The funeral service for Betty will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the United Methodist Church, Alma Center with Reverend Kathleen Jury officiating.  Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery, Alma Center.

 

The visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.

Betty Waller, 84, of Appleton passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Colony Oaks Care Center.

 

She was born July 2, 1915, in Alma Center, the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Kimball) Cooper.  In 1943 Betty married Loren Waller in Blair, and he preceded her in death in 1992.  She lived in Beloit until eight years ago when she moved to Appleton to be closer to family.  Her family was her life.  Betty enjoyed spending time camping and being with her family.

 

Betty is survived by her sons, Rick (Karen) Waller and Rod (Deb) Waller, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Dave Waller and Mike (Robin) Waller, Chad Waller and Ginger (Bob) Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kylie Waller and Kayla and Cody Cunningham; brother-in-law, Donald Granlund, Janesville; and sisters-in-law, Lillian Cooper, Beloit, and Betty (Cling) Severson, Janesville.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Cooper, and her sister, Dona Granlund.
