Rueben Aldinger (18 Aug 1922 - 22 Feb 1939)

Curtiss – Rueben Aldinger, 16-year-old Curtiss youth, died Wednesday evening at 7:30 o’clock at his home. Death was caused by complications resulting from a heart ailment.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss with Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating at the rites. Interment will take place in the Pine Hill cemetery.

Rueben, who lived in Curtiss his entire life, was born Aug. 18, 1922, and was a student in the 10th grade of the public school.

He is survived by his sister, Marie, and an aged grandfather, Richard Schoenemen, with whom he had made his home.

His parents preceded him in death, his father having been killed in an airplane accident June 30, 1929, and his mother having died the following year on July 15.
