Pawlak, JoAnn (4 SEP 1965)

Miss JoAnn Pawlak, daughter of Mrs. Andrew Pawlak, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Dennis Thuecks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Thuecks, Boyd, in St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp, Sept. 4, 1965, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother Bill Pawlak.

For her wedding the bride chose a floor length bridal gown of organza styled with a scoop neckline. Swiss appliques adorned the front of the gown, complemented with beading. The bouffant skirt swept into a chapel train. She carried a bouquets of white roses, stephanotis and ivy centered with a large white orchid.

Miss Sharon Thuecks, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Pat Orzechowski and Kathy Hodorowski were bridesmaids. The attendants were dressed in floor length crepe dresses of c'est blue, styled with scoop necklines. Lace trains complemented the slim skirts. The maid of honor carried white mums and the bridesmaids carried tinted blue mus.

Bab Pawlak, brother of the bride, was best man. Andy Pawlak, another brother of the bride, and Fred Thuecks, were groomsmen. Roger Misna and Walter Pawlak ushered.

A reception was held in the American Legion Hall in Thorp. The couple left for a trip to the southern part of the state. They will make their home in Thorp.
