Hugh Converse and Leo Chapel transacted business in
Chili Sat.
Mrs. Elmer Dennis is at home again, after four weeks in
the hospital at Eau Claire, very much improved in health.
Free Converse moved his household goods to his new home
in Granton, Monday.
Ara Lee is on the sick list this week.
Mrs. Lee is also indisposed with a hard cold.
Mrs. Ameilia Converse and Mrs. Free Converse visited
Saturday with Mrs. Ed Coil.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Fenske spent Sunday at Carl Berg’s.
Mrs. Lue Smith called at Elmer Dennis’ Monday afternoon.
Leo Chapel and family were Sunday visitors at Ed Coil’s.
A number of our farmers shipped stock from Granton, with
the Equity Monday.
Mrs. T.F. Lee visited Mrs. Elmer Dennis Tuesday
afternoon.
Mrs. Calvin Davis and children have been visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Berg, and returned home Sunday evening.
Little Edna Lee was quite seriously ill last week.
Elmer Dennis went to Eau Claire and accompanied his wife
home Sat.
While anxious friends and neighbors waited hopefully for
good reports, Grace Bartz lost the Great Battle, and preceded them to the
Promised Land, March 3rd.
Her sorrowing family has the sympathy of all.
She was brought from Eau Claire Tuesday afternoon.
The funeral will be held Friday.
