A double ring ceremony at the Loyal Methodist Church on December 21, united in
marriage Rachel Oestreich and Craig Johnston. The Rev. Paul Doering performed
the afternoon ceremony, assisted by Rev. Ross Oestreich, a cousin of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Oestreich, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnston.
The bride’s sister, Diane, was maid of honor. The bride was attired in an ivory
brocade street dress with pink accessories and wore an orchid corsage. The
bride’s attendant wore a blue brocade street length dress, and also wore an
orchid corsage.
Best man was the groom’s brother, Brian Johnston.
The bride’s mother attended the wedding in a blue wool dress with white
accessories, and the groom’s mother wore a red dress with winter white hat and
gloves. The bride’s mother wore a corsage of pink and white carnations, while
the groom’s mother wore white carnations.
A dinner was held at the Star Lodge Motel, followed by a reception at the
bride’s home.
The couple are both graduates of the Loyal High School.
The groom is employed at Shriner’s at Marshfield and the bride is an employee of
the Telephone Co. at Marshfield. They will live in Marshfield.
