ARNESON, Lester C., 89, of Chippewa Falls, Formerly of Cadott, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 at his home in the Town of LaFayette. Lester was born in Chippewa County to Chris & Amanda (Linberg) Arneson on July 17, 1918. He married Lorraine Goettl on September 5, 1956.

Lester is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughter, Audrey (Jerry) Jeffers; granddaughter, Amanda (Ryan) Zuege; sister, Amelia Podhola; sister-in-laws, Lillian, Rosie, Charlene (Ed) Sagen, Olivia Goettl, Elsie Marcellis, Valeria Tiry, Tony Henneman, Margie Cunningham; brother-in-laws, Francis (Charlene) Goettl, Lawrence Nordlund; many nieces, nephews & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, 2 step-grandchildren, brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott, WI, with Michael Sommerfeld officiating.
