Bergman, Krista Ann (21 June 1988 - 26 Jan. 2008)

Krista Ann Bergman, 19, of 1405 Gravel Pit Road, Augusta, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, as a result of a snowmobile accident east of Augusta.

Krista Ann, daughter of Dale and LouAnn (Proulx) Bergman, was born June 21, 1988, in Chippewa Falls. She graduated from Augusta High School in 2006, where she participated in volleyball, softball, basketball and track. She was active with F.F.A., played flute with the high school band and was a member of the flag team. She attended Chippewa Valley Technical College, where she attained a degree in early childhood education. With this degree she found employment as the 2-year-old teacher with KinderCare Learning Center in Eau Claire. Krista loved most outdoor activities and spending time with her cats, dogs, cattle and friends. Her warm smile and heart will be remembered forever.

She is survived by her father, Dale Bergman of Augusta; three sisters, Trinia (Kelsey) Anderson of Tilden, Amber (Mick) York of Bloomer and Deanna (Jerud) Moyle of Eau Claire; brother, Wayne (Ann) Bergman of Augusta; grandparents, Bonna Bergman of Augusta, Betty and Bill Goulet of Chippewa Falls; great-grandparents, Ed and Florence Ryan of Cadott; nieces and nephews, Katlyn and Jordan Moyle, Zackery and Zander Bergman, Molli and Sierra York, Emma Kopp, Jonathan Pecha, Shianne Johnson; special friend, Bill Smith of Stanley; many uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, LouAnn Proulx on Jan. 18, 2006; and grandparents, Leonard Proulx and Donald Bergman.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ludington Township, junction of Highway 27 and County Road D. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery in Sigel Township, rural Cadott.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given.
