Nowicki, Stella M. (9 Nov. 1912 - 26 Mar. 2008)

ATHENS -- Stella M. Nowicki, 95, of Athens, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home in Athens, and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. There will be a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Athens funeral home. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for their dairy farm and logging business in the town of Rietbrock for many years.

Survivors include six daughters, Mary Ann Nowicki, West Allis, Helen (Steve) Bogaczyk, Stevens Point, Phyllis (Melvin) Mader, Marathon, Theresa Schwartz, Newark, Del., Christine (John) Delago, Wausau, and Bernice (Jeff) Manhardt, Eau Claire; three sons, Joe (Jane) Nowicki, Edward (Mary) Nowicki and Richard Nowicki, all of Athens; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Agnes Bonin, Athens.
