Haderlein, Elsie (Marriage - 29 May 1943)

Miss Elsie Haderlein, Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haderlein, Milan, and Charles Young, Chicago, were united in marriage at 8:00 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, May 29, at St. Thomas’ Catholic church, Chicago. The Rev. T. J. Neckerman, officiated.

They were attended by the bride’s sister, Mrs. Ella Haderlein and John Burke, both of Chicago. The bride wore a powder blue gown and carried a bouquet of sweet heart roses and her sister was dressed in navy blue and carried yellow roses. Both wore hats and accessories to match.

A wedding breakfast was served at the Del Prado hotel to the bridal party. The bride has made her home at Chicago for the past few years. They will make their home there.

The young couple arrived in Milan, Sunday, for a week’s visit with the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Haderlein and with her brothers, Frank, Andrew and Rudy and their families.
