Szymanski, Wayne A. (1949? - April 14, 2009)

Wayne A. Szymanski, 60, Wausau died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Joseph Diermeier, will preside.

Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Wayne's name.

Wayne A. Szymanski, 60, 2402 South Mountain Road, Wausau, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Wayne was the district manager for Combined Insurance Company of America for more than 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy (Juhlke) Szymanski; his son, Clint Szymanski, both of Wausau; his parents, Alex and Theresa (Lemmer) Szymanski, Marathon; his stepchildren, Brad (Danille) Hildebrandt, New Richmond, Amy (Zhirik) Barseghian, Chandler, Ariz.; four stepgrandchildren; his siblings, Mary Jane (Dennis) Cramer, Marathon, and Julie (Jon) Koch, Brussels; his mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Dorothy Juhlke, Schofield, and four nieces.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Marathon. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and again from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Wayne's name.
