Rindfleisch, Martha Maria (6 May 1874 - 11 Nov. 1957)

SPENCER - A pioneer resident of the Spencer area, Mrs. Albert Rindfleisch, 83, died Monday at the home of her daughter in Medford, where she had been living since her health began to fail two months ago.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church here. The Rev. W. R. Krueger will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Swarthout Funeral Home from this evening to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, when the body will be taken to the church.

The former Martha Maria Schwantes was born in Piperville, Wis., May 6, 1874, and came to Spencer with her parents when she was four years old. She and Mr. Rindfleisch were married here July 26, 1894, and farmed in the town of Brighton. He died Sept. 5, 1955. Mrs. Rindfleisch was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of Trinity Church.

She is survived by five children, Walter of Colby, Ervin and William of Spencer, Mrs. Arthur (Hilda) Bormann, Medford, and Mrs. Otto (Alice) Bach, Marshfield; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two children died in infancy.
