Milan News

M. C. Ellingson is at Rhinelander this week.

Mrs. George Blank and daughter Marci were Athens callers Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schmidt spent Sunday afternoon at the Geo. Galser home.

Mrs. George Groh and daughters Margaret and Dorothy were Wausau callers Saturday. 

Mrs. Wm. Roder of the town of Johnson visited with Mrs. John Hederlein Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindner of Colby were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzmann Sunday.

Rev. Walter Pichler of Merrill, was in our village during the week greeting old acquaintances.

Mrs. Paul Benzman and son Arlo and Mrs. Chas. Schmidt visited with relatives at Colby Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Zobrak Jr. of the town of Holton, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kohl Sunday.  

The Milan Community Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Gail Gadson Thursday, February 12th.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas Schmidt visited with Mr. Schmidt’s father G. F. Schmidt at Dorchester, Sunday evening.

Arno and Shirley Rae Faffe celebrated their birthday Sunday by inviting several friends to their home. 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haderlein and daughter Geraldine visited with the Herman Marquardt family at Curtiss Sunday. Miss Vivian Marquardt, who had spent the past week here at their home, returned to her home with them. 

Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Ellingson were Wausau callers Tuesday.

Miss Helen Buschoff spent Sunday with friends at Dorchester.

The Ladies Aid of the Lutheran church will meet with Mrs. George Blank Thursday, Feb. 5th

Mrs. Wm. Roder is spending a week at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pope at Dorchester. 

Vangel Bobbe celebrated her birthday Wednesday by entertaining a number of schoolmates and her teacher. 

Mr. and Mrs. John Schrieder and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Radlinger visited at the Frank Settler home at Athens Sunday.

F. W. Bobbe and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Blank and daughter visited with relatives at Athens Friday evening. 

Friends and neighbors pleasantly surprised Elmer Heckman Thursday evening to honor his birthday anniversary. Cards furnished the amusement of the evening. At midnight refreshments were served.
