Mrs. Marzell Weix's Sister (Verna Lapp Rasman) Died at Antigo Last Week Tuesday

Mrs. Fred Rasman, 47, the former Verna Lapp of this community (Dorchester, Clark County, WI), died last Tuesday, June 30, in the Antigo hospital. Funeral services were held from St. John's Catholic church, Antigo, at 9 a. m. Friday, July 3, and burial was in Antigo Memorial cemetery.

Verna Lapp was born March 8, 1905 at Curtiss and was married to Fred Rasman in St. Louis Catholic church, here in 1940. Prior to her marriage she graduated from the Milwaukee hospital school of nursing and held the position of surgical nurse at Langlade Memorial hospital, Antigo, at the time of her marriage.

She is survived, by her husband and two children, May 11, and Tim 6, at home, and a twin sister, Mrs. Marzell (Vera F.) Weix. Her parents, one brother, and four sisters preceded her in death.

(Verna and husband, Frederick Rasman, are buried in the Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Antigo, Langlade Co, WI. Her twin sister, Vera Fredericka (Lapp) Weix and husband, Marzell Joseph Weix, are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Colby, WI.)
