Slomka, Albert (1 APR 1883 - 28 JAN 1965)

Albert Slomka, 81, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28th, 1965 at Mount View Sanatorium, Wausau.

Mr. Slomka, a retired farmer, was born April 1, 1883 in Oswiecim, Poland. He came to the United States in April 1904, residing in South Chicago, Ill. On Feb. 25, 1908 he marriage Angeline Gawel at South Chicago, Ill. In May 1917 they moved to the Town of Roosevelt.

Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin on Monday, Feb. 1. Rev. Edward Cyz officiated at the ten a.m. service and burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walter Hendzel, Edmund Liszewski, Joseph Penk, Ted Popowski, Louis Stokosa and John Bando.

Surviving are one son John at home; two daughters, (Mary) Mrs. Adam Pawlicki, Lublin, and (Helen) Mrs. Frank Kornel, East Chicago, Ind.
